Privacy policy

Airedale Fencers (airedalefencers.co.uk) is a referral service run by Oskars Kursitis, a sole trader in West Yorkshire. We are the data controller for the details you send us. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

When you use the quote form: the type of job, its rough size, your name, phone number, postcode, the page you used and the time. We do not ask for your email or address.

Why, and on what legal basis

To pass your enquiry to one tradesperson so they can contact you about the job. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.

Who we share it with

One tradesperson only, named on the form before you send it. We never sell your details or pass them to anyone else for marketing.

We use service providers to run the site and deliver your enquiry: Cloudflare (website hosting), Supabase (database, hosted in the EU), Resend (email alerts to the tradesperson) and Twilio (text messages). They process data only on our instructions. Some are US companies; where data leaves the UK it is protected by the UK's approved safeguards (the UK–US data bridge or standard contractual clauses).

We do not use your details for automated decisions, and we do not send you marketing. The only messages you get are a text confirming who will call you, and the call itself.

How long we keep it

12 months from your enquiry, so we can deal with any questions about the introduction. Then it is deleted. The tradesperson keeps your details under their own privacy terms once they are working with you.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw consent, by emailing [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
